The Anomaly Archives welcomes British Fortean researcher Jon Downes to Austin, Texas for a lecture on all things anomalous, Fortean, cryptozoological and UFOlogical. Please join us at the Anomaly Archives lending library (located at 12593 Research Blvd., Suite 302) from 1 to 5pm, Saturday, March 20th for an enlightening lecture from one of the world’s leading cryptozoological field investigators.

This lecture event is FREE, however, a $5 donation is respectfully requested for those wishing to help support the Anomaly Archives in its non-profit community education, outreach and research efforts.

Jonathan Downes is the Director of the British-based Center for Fortean Zoology, the world’s only full-time group dedicated to the investigation of unknown animals, including Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, Ogopogo, and the Abominable Snowman.

In both 1998 and 2004, Jon traveled to the island of Puerto Rico in search of the deadly, blood-sucking creature known as the Chupacabras – a beast that has been linked with a large amount of UFO activity, including UFO crashes, on the island.

Jon will be speaking about his two expeditions, findings, theories and conclusions as to what the creature may be. Jon will also reveal the very latest news on his quest to find out the truth concerning the so-called Texas Chupacabras.

Electronic Planet Ensemble presents Surfin’ UFO, a multi-dimensional, multi-media, inter-galactic love story.

Feel the power of nature riding inside the curl of a monster wave. Fall in love with a space girl. The Anunnaki are knocking at your door, and one of them looks just like Bridgitte Bardot.

Planet X, 2012, crop circles, Roswell, ancient astronauts, UFO sightings, and alien abductions. Something is going on here, and you don’t know what it is, do you, Mr. Jones? Or, maybe you haven’t noticed because you’re too busy surfing.

The mysteries of Sumer and ancient Egypt meet Surf Boy and Space Girl, rare star crossed lovers, experiencing first love in all its wave crashing, heart pounding, supernova glory. Ride the tsunami of love, wipe out, get pounded, and ride again. Bend and fold the space-time continuum. Exceed the speed of light. Is it a particle or is it a wave? Meredith Mitchell, PhD received his doctorate in 1967 and trained at the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles, receiving certification as a Jungian analyst in 1974. He served as president of the L.A. Mary Mansfield has lived many incarnations, coming to the realization that life gives you what you need, from the many realms of existence, in order grow and move forward.  Austin Texas “called” in 2003, and she moved from Boulder, Co, She currently works as the Executive Assistant to the Dean’s Office, College of natural Sciences, UT Austin.  Her love of wine has brought her to tasting of and writing for the Texas Food and wine Foundation’s publication, Plate and Vine.

And, Mary Mansfield’s first words where “ What’s that?” Her questions became deeper and by the age of 12, she began questioning her religious background in Catholicism. A synchronistic meeting with a family friend would steer Mary into the direction of Mythology, Eastern Philosophy, Astrology, Numerology, and The Power of Positive Thinking. After a near death experience, with the birth of her first son at 17, her thirst for spiritual knowledge deepened. She studied Mind Psi-Genics and Transcendental Meditation, which was her first introductions of the mind, body and spirit connections, and throughout 1970’s Mary acquired much of her knowledge reading the limited number of books available in her fields of interest. During this time she also began her 30-plus years of dream journaling and interest in symbolism.
